We are currently hiring teachers for in-person classes, across Seattle!

Coding NP has provided best-in-class coding instruction for kids throughout the Seattle area. If you have a desire to teach kids how to program and change the world, we want to hear from you.

QUALIFICATIONS

We hire people, not resumes. Teaching and coding experience is nice but not required. Being a teacher means you have the patience, heart, and commitment to see your students thrive. What matters to us is a passion for learning, and an ability to help students develop that passion.

DO I NEED CODING/ANIMATION EXPERIENCE?

Teaching experience or a desire to teach is much more important to us than coding experience. Why? Because teaching is much harder than coding. We will teach you to code, just like we teach our students. We provide paid training to improve your coding and classroom management skills. However, having an existing interest in coding and making your own projects means that you’ll provide a more authentic experience to our students, and that’s something we care about.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

This is a part-time job. We have classes running on multiple days, at multiple times per day. We pay a competitive hourly rate with significant performance-based bonuses.

An extensive background check and references are required. The schools where we teach may require their own separate background checks or training as well. Student safety is of the utmost importance to us.
